Walking Through a Memory

In May of 2016, I had the privilege of marching alongside 10,000 Jewish adults and teens from Auschwitz to Birkenau. This walk was once known as the Death March. Having the ability to freely walk out of Auschwitz next to survivors was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Not only was this journey to commemorate 6 million Jews murdered in the camps, including my own family, but also to celebrate that we’re still living and will continue to persevere. We spent a week visiting camps and sites in Poland and then spent another week in Israel. During the journey, I kept a handwritten journal and decided to type it up and design it into a more tangible version to be easily accessible to others. Never Forget.
